For just a fraction of the cost of Down, the Williams Loft™ Down Alternative Comforter is a great substitute for the real thing. Their comforters are fluffy and soft like down and will feel silky smooth between your fingers. The soft and fluffy fiberfill of the Down Alternative Comforter is Hypo-Allergenic and is made with a no shift design. These Comforters are easy to wash. Just use a larger, front end loading machine with a mild detergent.
Williams Loft™ has two warmth levels available in their Down Alternative Comforters. Their All Year comforter is lighter and used for spring and fall. The box stitch construction which sews the top and bottom together in a 12” box pattern is used for the All Year comforters. The Winter Season comforter is heavier and used where winters are colder. The 12" baffle box construction is used here. It is similar to the box construction, but uses a thin strip of material between the fabric of the top and bottom, for each seam. This allows room for the filling to expand. Both of these construction methods keep the fill from shifting to the sides and foot of the comforters. All of the comforters have a 6” border that trims the edge . The All Year and the Winter weight comforters are made with a soft single ply 200 thread count cotton fabric, that is light and durable.
